Gastroschisis is an extraumbilical abdominal wall anomaly with normal cord insertion, and without a sac or a sac remnant, and with non rotation of an abnormally short midgut, which requires a surgical emergency in the new-born infants. We experienced one survival case of gastroschisis, which was treated surgically¢¥ by primary skin closure of the abdominal wall defect and gastrostomy. Thee child had uneventful post-operative course and has grown up normal and healthy.
